Xochi is a probiotic soda brand rooted in Mexican culture, positioning itself at the intersection of tradition, refreshment, and everyday ritual. Developed as a modern soda with strong cultural grounding, the brand draws from botanical references and regional sensibilities while addressing a competitive market shaped by bold packaging, fast recognition, and shelf presence. The project centers on creating an identity that can communicate authenticity and character without relying on nostalgia or overt symbolism.

Kinoto Studio approached the identity as a branding system where packaging functions as the primary communicative surface. Expressive typography, a vibrant color palette, and illustrative elements inspired by flora are brought together through strong composition and rhythm. Rather than isolating cultural references as decorative motifs, the system integrates them into a cohesive visual language. 

The result is an identity that feels rooted while remaining contemporary, translating cultural and botanical references into a coherent visual language that balances expressiveness with structural discipline.
