Serenity Event Visual Identity Designed by Bareis + Nicholas

January 01, 2026
The visual identity for Serenity was developed for an event taking place during the world’s largest hackathon in San Francisco. The project spans posters, animations, and sound-based elements, forming a graphic system that operates across both physical and digital formats.

Bareis + Nicholas approached the identity by translating the idea of blockchain—the secure chaining of individual blocks—into a modular visual language. Repeating vertical forms, rhythmic layouts, and animated sequences visualize connection, sequence, and structure, allowing the system to expand across print, motion, and sound while maintaining a coherent visual logic.
