PosterEditorialTypography Switzerland A seasonal visual identity system balancing continuity and variation in expressive harmony.
Founded in Geneva in 1918, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (OSR) is one of Switzerland’s leading cultural institutions, with an international reputation shaped by its long-standing engagement with both classical repertoire and contemporary composition.
For the 2024–2025 season, the orchestra presents a wide-ranging program encompassing symphonic concerts, solo performances, and special collaborations across venues such as Victoria Hall and Théâtre de Beaulieu. The season brings together internationally recognized conductors and soloists while reinforcing OSR’s role as a central platform for musical interpretation, experimentation, and public cultural life in Switzerland.
Neo Neo conceives the visual identity as a flexible system rather than a rigid framework. Cohesion is established through recurring material and tonal elements—most notably the use of gold foil—while typography and composition shift from piece to piece. Rather than enforcing typographic uniformity, the system allows expressive variation, giving each event a distinct visual voice while remaining part of a coherent seasonal language. Through this balance of consistency and openness, the identity supports the breadth of the program without reducing it to a single visual formula.
