Axis of Horizon is an exhibition drawn from the international collection of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), presenting contemporary approaches to the theme of nature. The exhibition examines how representations of nature have evolved across time, shifting from traditional artistic subjects toward more complex readings shaped by history, society, and individual perception. Works spanning sculpture, photography, moving image, and installation explore nature not as a singular image, but as a field where multiple perspectives, temporal layers, and relationships intersect.

Studio Remote designed the exhibition identity and publication to support this curatorial framework. The visual system relies on restrained typography, controlled layout, and material consistency, allowing the exhibition content to remain foregrounded. Across printed matter and exhibition graphics, the design maintains a calm, structured presence, organizing information clearly while establishing a cohesive visual language. Rather than introducing expressive gestures, the identity functions as a neutral container; supporting the exhibition’s layered presentation and ensuring continuity across formats and scales.
