For Artbute’s Curated Issue 2, New Information expands the magazine’s editorial concept into a global survey of commercial artists working across photography, illustration, and generative practices. The publication constructs a broad visual landscape of contemporary commercial work while maintaining a clear and cohesive structural system.

Building on the framework established in Issue 1, a continuous color spectrum threads across the pages, forming a chromatic sequence that moves like a rainbow through the book. This spectrum functions both as navigation and metaphor, articulating diversity while reinforcing unity. Each artist’s spread integrates into this progression, creating rhythm between contrast and continuity. A silkscreened transparent sleeve overlays the cover, foregrounding the artists’ names and introducing a tactile layer that extends the reading experience beyond the printed page.

The result is a publication that treats sequencing, color logic, and material intervention as structural devices, transforming a curated collection of commercial practices into a coherent and materially expressive editorial object.
